I am a senior journalism major recently decided to become English teacher, and I am diving in this project of reading classic American literature, ranging from Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Woolf, Steinbeck, Hemmingway and many more. I will discuss my personal opinion of plots, themes, characters–anything that strikes my fancy/ attention within the books. I wills say whether I think they are worth reading, the difficulty level, etc. The blog will be entirely opinion-based, and I would love to hear readers’ thoughts or comments on any of the works I have read. The primary selection of texts I will be reading from is based on the “Random House Modern Library 100 Best Novels” list.
